HOW WE GOT HERE

The Arts Alliance, LLC. (TAA) is a 501c3 that is committed to bringing art and entertainment to underserved communities. By exposing people to a wide array of the arts we help educate and inspire them while also helping artists sustain a living.

Forming this alliance helps support artists who make a living solely through the creation or performance of their art.

By bringing art and entertainment to communities TAA is able to help those who may not have exposure to art and performances created by a diversified group of artists. It also helps to diversify the art already in communities.

TAA's Art For Charity Gallery is virtual but it also hangs its art throughout communities at businesses. It costs proprietors nothing to have the art hung in their establishments and TAA only asks that they care for it as if it were their own. This helps the art be seen. When art is seen and created by people who look like you it helps build self esteem whether you are an artist or not because it inspires  achievement.

With the help of donations TAA is able to support communities through art expansion. TAA is able to do this by utilizing local talent, as well as, bringing touring groups that include ballet companies, musicals, art installations and plays that open up opportunities for diversified artists and audiences.

TAA is directed by G. F. Ewing-Keys a former federal auditor with a MBA in Accounting. She has many talents that have gone from hobbies to businesses. Starting with her love of photography. She began as a wedding and prom photographer and did that for years until her work morphed into capturing artist's work through her camera lens. All of which helped her develop a love of art and an eye for good work.

As an auditor she developed her writing skills and ultimately wrote two novels, COMMISSIONED and Principal Assets. In addition, her work with music stems from being classically trained as a child then reuniting with that training after forty years. Thus, she formed Forty Music Productions and wrote among other songs, JUNE, an anthem for the celebration of Juneteenth. The lyrics of the song are used to evoke inquiry into the education of the history of African Americans.

TAA also has Room For Love an area of the nonprofit established to show compassion for those who are less fortunate because of homelessness due to natural disasters or fire. TAA provides   victims   with   food and living necessities along with coloring books, pages and pencils which are proven to help relieve stress. Often during a crisis   victims spend hours sitting and waiting unable to maintain a regular routine. Coloring relaxes and expands the mind and often allows dreams to form and aspire.

Ewing-Keys understands her fiduciary responsibility to donors and is committed to using every donation to achieve these goals. To learn more about her work please visit, www.fortymusic.com
